WINE STEWARD - ASSISTANT WAITER

NavegaCruceros Jobs is actively recruiting qualified Chilean candidates to join the shipboard team for Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL). 1. ASSISTANT WAITER (Restaurant Department)

- Compensation: Average starting salary of approximately $1,200 USD per month (plus eligibility for gratuities/tips).
- Contract: 36 weeks on board / 9 weeks off rotation.
- Responsibilities: Assist Station Waiters with food and beverage service, manage table setups (mise-en-place), and ensure prompt delivery of orders from the galley following health and safety standards.
- Requirements: Minimum of two years of experience in fine dining, high-volume restaurants (180+ seats), or cruise ships. Candidates must have two years of experience in wine service, a high school diploma, intermediate to advanced English, and the physical ability to carry heavy service trays.

2. WINE STEWARD (Bar Department)

- Compensation: $1,633.57 USD base salary per month plus $70 USD Social Program Compensation.
- Initial Assignment: Potential placement on premier vessels such as the Norwegian Viva.
- Responsibilities: Manage wine sales and personalized recommendations in fine dining venues, utilize up-selling techniques to maximize revenue, and maintain wine inventories and service standards.
- Requirements: Proven experience as a Sommelier or Wine Specialist in luxury hotels or premium cruise ships. Candidates must have advanced or bilingual English skills to present complex pairings and tasting notes, as well as impeccable grooming and high physical stamina.
