Software Development Engineer in Test SDET

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test you will be responsible for the development of automated tests for industry leading software applications and services for the building industry.

Using your developer and testing skills, you will develop automated tests for a web-based application written in C#. This application focuses on the next generation management tool for the component manufacturers in the wood structure building ecosystem. This SDET will collaborate with other members of the product development team, quality assurance, and creative team.
Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospectives as part of the Agile Scrum software development lifecycle.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or technology, information systems or software engineering course of study or relevant experience required
• Accomplished in developing high quality and clean automated tests within a collaborative framework
• Ability to diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks in a timely manner
• Communicate well, both verbally and in writing, creating accurate documentation, sharing information and ideas with others
• Ability to build and sustain cooperative working relationships
• Ability to make sound technical decisions that balance short-term needs with long-term goals
• 3+ years relevant software development experience in C#, ASP.NET Core, REST, Web Services, T-SQL
• Experience in utilizing Entity Framework (EF Core)
• Ability to develop automated tests in JavaScript
• Ability to work within company-developed automation framework following best practices and code sharing
• Experience with automated unit testing patterns and tools
• Experience with performing manual and exploratory testing
• JIRA/Confluence
• Agile development and CI/CD/CT
• Git source control and Bitbucket
• Azure development including App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, AKS, Monitor, Key Vault, Pipelines is a plus
• Building industry experience is a plus
• Playwright experience is a plus
• Blazor experience is a plus
• Telerik Kendo UI experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Clean Architecture is a plus

100% work modality, with a fixed-term contract of 6 months duration, and according to performance an indefinite contract.
