Project Controller

Important company of services is looking for a skilled and experienced Project Controller to join our team and drive excellence in our renewable energy projects.

Location: Santiago, Chile

As the Controlling Analyst, you will oversee a large complex project in the wind, solar, energy storage, biomass, hydropower, green hydrogen, transmission, and distribution sectors. Your responsibilities will encompass the execution of commercial projects across various phases, including order booking, planning, and throughout the entire maintenance and operation period of the plant. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all financial matters with the end customer and suppliers. Additionally, you will be responsible to achieve Order Income Calculation targets while ensuring customer satisfaction, cost control, schedule adherence, and high-quality deliverables.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data. The candidate will also be the point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities.


Key Responsibilities:

-Monitor and manage the financial performance of the assigned project, optimize project gross profit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments.
-Manage all financial aspects of the project, including financial planning, cost controlling, invoicing and payment collection, business models, financing concepts, currency hedging, risks and opportunities, contract analysis, etc
-Strong analytical skills to effectively prepare and accurately report monthly and annual forecasts, monitor performance, and provide clear explanations for any variances.
E-nsure compliance with the contract documents; identify and pursue claims in cooperation with the project manager. Anticipate changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and develop cost-effective contingency plans.
-Development and delivering monthly project reports, customer progress reports, change proposals, and preparation of presentations to management and customers
-Monitor revenue recognition: actual vs plan, degree of completion, cost to complete, total forecasted costs vs planned.
-Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
-Assist with customer sales channel activities.


Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business or Accounting
-3+ years of hands-on experience as a Project Controller.
-knowledge of GAAP and IFRS. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, Power BI, and experience with SAP.
-Work independently, capable at multitasking and meeting deadlines; great teammate and open to learn.
-Excellent problem solving, diagnosis and strong analytical skills
-Fluent in English.
