R&D Engineer - 161

For international company, we are looking for R&D engineer responsible for designing, developing, and debugging circuit simulation algorithms and software. The candidate will improve existing algorithms and develop new algorithms and features for simulation engines:

- Enhance or develop new algorithms for advanced circuit simulation engines. For example, develop advanced solvers for large linear systems of equations.
- Enhance or develop new features for circuit simulation. For example, develop specialized analyses to produce advanced measurements for analog or RF design. This includes development of both core engine computational code as well as associated interface code.
- Optimize performance of existing or new circuit simulation algorithms.
- Work with end user test cases to ensure and debug correct function of advanced simulation features.


Minimum requirements:
- Strong software development ability in C/C++, including strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Knowledge of numerical algorithms for linear algebra and differential equations.
- Creativity and desire to find innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to work independently to take a project from start to finish.
- Previous experience with circuit simulation or related electronic design automation tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of analog or RF integrated circuit design is helpful but not required.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms and their complexities.
- Good communication skills in English.

Preferred requirements:
- Knowledge of Linux.
- Experience working with worldwide cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of software development processes.
