RD Engineer

For international company, we are looking for R&D engineers for three alternatives:

- The candidate would be responsible for building large-scale scientific computing applications in UNIX and Microsoft Windows environments. The majority of the software is written in C++, but some key components are also written in C, Python and Fortran. The professional would also be responsible for core development infrastructure areas, including build system, regression system, reporting system and development procedures. In addition, the candidate would be responsible for software quality and performance.

- The candidate would be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex software programs. Develops software tools in the area of logic and scan synthesis (DFT). Requires a strong background in data structures and algorithms and is familiar with C++ and C coding. Candidate must be familiar with modern development tools and techniques such as revision control, static and dynamic code quality tools like Valgrind and automated build tools. Exposure to EDA tools and Design For Testability, and Verilog or VHDL is desired.

- The candidate will be joining a Power Compiler UPF R&D team implementing the UPF standard. The UPF Standard is used by technology leaders to specify their power intent, used to save power on their designs. Responsibilities include design, specification, implementation, testing, and documentation of new features as well as enhancing existing features and bug fixing.

Minimum requirements
- BS in Computer Science / Electronics or equivalent with 2– 4 years of experience in object-oriented programming and software design or MS in Computer Science / Electronics with 1 – 3 years of experience.
- Experience in design and development of software with C/C++, else Java, C# or STL.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms and their complexities.
- Good communication skills in English.
