Group Class Instructor

CE is seeking a Group Class Instructor, who will help us define and grow a new generation of Instructors and Coaches, to join our dynamic and entrepreneurial staff out of WeWork Manquehue. We are looking for a non-traditional Class Instructor who has experience in leading others to strong results. Teaching experience is not at all necessary, however a near-native level (C1) English is. The instructor must be willing to teach at different times (early mornings/evenings) throughout the day. Our goal is always to continue building a staff who wants to join and grow with our disruptive startup/small business.

We have courses at 5 levels at CE: A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1. This job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position. It is not a complete statement of duties, responsibilities or requirements. Other duties not listed here may be assigned as necessary to ensure the proper operations of the department and company:

Provide each and every student and potential student with the best quality customer service;
Deliver the CE Experience to our students in each class;
Adhere to the methodology and class plan and modify the intensity for students when necessary;
Continuously monitor the students’ control in each activity throughout the duration of the class giving feedback and precise praise when called for
Ensure class begins and ends on time;
Assist students with technical support when working with the apps and activities to optimize their experience
Teach respective courses without absences;
Perform our own Cognostic, diagnosing potential students’ English levels;
Communicate with Group Class Manager on student feedback, course progress, app usage and operational status and scheduling;
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have the following experience and qualifications:
Must have a certified result of a minimum of C1 (CEFR), 72 (DET), 100 (TOEFL), or 7 (IELTS).
Must be well-versed in basic English communication (grammar, pronunciation, punctuation, linguistics), cognitive/behavioral psychology, performance/teaching/sports training techniques;
Must be eager to learn and continue professional development and education;
Must be friendly, vibrant, and outgoing
