Online Store and Marketplace Operations Director
Job Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive operational and promotional strategies for all online stores.
Oversee and optimize online store performance, focusing on increasing click-through rates, page reviews, and conversion rates.
Analyze promotion effectiveness and propose marketing enhancements to drive sales.
Proficient in utilizing online store promotional tools, leveraging past experiences to improve sales performance.
Regularly analyze product, sales, marketing, and competitor data, generating performance reports.
Plan and execute various promotional activities to manage inventory effectively.
Establish efficient job divisions, optimize processes, train and develop staff, and conduct performance management to enhance departmental efficiency.
Stay updated on e-commerce market trends and propose strategic solutions aligned with company goals.
Demonstrate strong communication, proposal, and execution skills, fostering teamwork and meticulous work.
Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in online store operations, particularly in Mercado Libre.
Trial Period -1
Responsibilities
0-1 month: Analyze Chilean online store platforms, identify Top 1-200 best selling items.
1-2 months: Finalize selection to 30-50 best items and prepare brand/quantities.
2-4 months: Establish accounts on 1-3 selected platforms, list products across all stores.
4-6 months: Transition to formal sales.
Salary: $1000/month (Home Office)
Trial Period -2
Responsibilities:
6-12 months: Achieve monthly sales target of $100,000 with a gross margin of 35-40%.
Salary: $2000/month + 5% commission on gross margin
Formal Director Stage-1
Responsibilities:
1-2 years: Achieve monthly sales growth of 10-15%, with yearly sales exceeding $2,500,000 and maintaining a gross margin of 30-35%.
Salary: $2500/month + 8% commission on gross margin
Formal Director Stage-2
Responsibilities
2-5 years: Aim for 20% yearly sales growth, reaching a sales target of $5,000,000 by the 5th year, maintaining a gross margin of 30-40%.
Salary: $3000/month + 10% commission on gross margin
Notes:
Maintain a proactive approach towards market trends and sales strategies.
Encourage continuous improvement and innovation in operations and promotions.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to achieve departmental goals.
