Senior Software Engineer

Looking for an experienced backend developer who can work with our team to contribute collaboratively to a large project, playing a Full-Stack Developer role.

This is not just a result-based project. We expect this individual to contribute and collaborate and build upon an existing code base. This person will perform scrum over video calls, etc.

General requirements:

- Must work well within a team and can contribute high-quality code and do code reviews.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and be online with our developers.
- Must have experience with CI and Docker.
- Be able to learn quickly and be resourceful.
- Must have grit and determination to implement designs that are responsive across multiple devices and browsers.

Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript (NodeJS), CSS, HTML, PostgreSQL.

Frameworks: Django

Agile methodologies: JIRA, Confluence

Hardware: virtual: Azure Cloud / Containers: Docker

Repositories: GitHub

CI/CD: Circle CI 2.0

Expectations:
- Communicate with the team over Slack
- Submit pull requests and review code
- Manage the build system
- Provide feedback and contribute suggestions to the team, project and designs
- Write test cases

If you are interested, you will need to complete coding tests and meet with the lead and team.

Working hours: 40 hrs per week.
