Technology Expert - Python / Lombardia Italia.

Good knowledge and high level programming skills in Python, with emphasis on
scientific libraries (numpy/scipy/scikit) and web-UIs (Ipython, mini-webframeworks).

Knowledge of data-formats (json, xml, cvs), software development tools (git, subversion) and software engineering practices (testing, debugging).

Good knowledge of C# and .Net framework.

Project management experience, including standards, methodologies, ideally RUP and SCRUM, and related tools, ideally those used by the Commission (JIRA, Stash/Git, Bamboo);

Good knowledge of standard and agile Software Engineering methodologies, and the capability to apply them in multi-membered software development groups;

Good knowledge on the project software technicalities (code quality metrics, simulation and engineering algorithms, statistical and sensitivity analysis and accompanying reporting methods, data manipulations and exploration techniques, and preferably relational or NoSQL databases, Python .Net, Matlab and other
mainstream computer languages and systems).

Very good capacity in preparing and writing technical documents and user guidelines in English,
 Good capacity in drafting reports and giving presentations;
 Ability to work in an international, multi-cultural environment and to participate in
multi-lingual meetings with good communication skills;
 Rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team with Leadership
capability;
 Ability to apply high quality standards to all tasks;
