We’re on the lookout for a Senior Developer who is not only strong in Java and Spring Boot, but also confident leading technical conversations in English. In this role, you'll contribute to meaningful software solutions, support legacy migration from C# to Java, and collaborate with international teams across Latin America.
Fluent spoken English is a must — you’ll be expected to explain ideas, discuss solutions, and navigate meetings naturally in English. If you’ve been waiting for a role where your communication skills are as valuable as your code, this is it.
What you’ll do:
• Design and maintain scalable backend applications (Java 8–21, Spring Boot, JUnit)
• Lead the migration of components from C#/.NET to Java
• Develop APIs and build microservices with security and quality in mind
• Use Docker and Kubernetes to manage containerized services
• Ensure code quality with Maven, SonarQube, Bitbucket/Git and Jira
• Manage Oracle, SQL, and NoSQL databases
What you bring:
• 3+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot
• 3+ years working with C#/.NET
• Proven experience with CI/CD, peer reviews, and Agile teams
• Expertise in database modeling and scripting (Oracle, SQL, NoSQL)
• Advanced conversational English – not just reading, but speaking fluently
Work Style: Remote-first, with flexibility to join onsite meetings once a week in Las Condes
