Job Description

Salary – USD 1,300 (net) per month

Key requirements – public accountant that can legally sign financial statements & tax returns,
experience of Chilean taxes, experience in managing multiple clients, experience in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)

Our main clients are foreign companies and individuals doing business in Latin America.

Role Summary:

The role reports directly into the Peru & Chile Country Manager and entails overall responsibly for the accounting and taxation deliverables to clients.

The role is client facing and as such only those candidates with advanced English (written and spoken) will be considered for the role.

Key responsibilities

? Preparation of monthly VAT returns;

? Preparation of withholding tax returns;

? Preparations of payroll including associated legal deductions;

? Preparation of annual corporation tax returns;

? Preparation of monthly management accounts;

? Preparation of annual financial statements under IFRS;

The candidate will be expected to liaise in a professional manner with all clients in order to ensure queries are resolved and problems are solved thus avoiding fines and penalties associated with presenting financial and tax information after deadlines set by the relevant regulatory bodies.

Additionally the candidate will be responsible for the internal accounting and financial management of Chile Business Services, including cash flow management.
