The successful Global Sourcing Manager for the Grape Category will oversee the existing grape supply from Chile, Peru, Brazil, and Argentina. They will build and maintain relationships with growers, collaborate with cross-functional teams to procure fresh grapes within budget and achieve KPIs. The role involves taking ownership of the end-to-end supply chain, from product creation to delivery.

YOUR ROLE:
Managing an existing imported supply of over 4 million boxes and collaborating with 60+ suppliers from countries like Chile, Peru, and Brazil. Oversee 10+ programs and packaging for major U.S. retailers such as Costco, Aldi, Kroger, Whole Foods, Safeway, and others.
Tasks involve planning and forecasting, working with growers to meet product demand. Identify potential new regions, countries, and suppliers, emphasizing premium quality and performance. Support negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
Additionally, develop, review, and approve spec sheets for quality and packaging. Analyze quality reports on arrivals. Utilize data analysis for informed decision-making, incorporating data from the USDA and internal sources. Provide support to Accounting and Finance Departments for contract formalization.
Support the Food Safety Department by obtaining necessary information from suppliers and facilitating communication between growers and the Food Safety Manager. Build and sustain relationships with suppliers, addressing issues, resolving conflicts, and monitoring performance for effective collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years of experience in fresh produce sourcing or category management.
Experience Grape Category.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing and implementing global sourcing strategies.
Strong understanding of import regulations and compliance standards relative to the fresh produce industry.
Excellent data analytics, organizational, and project management skills
Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred
Ability to travel internationally

Chilean based Wage Band: US$65.000 - US$77.000.(GROSS)
US based Wage Band: US: 120.000 - 180.000 (GROSS)
Workplace: Home Office (Chile) & CA, USA
Bonus: Up to 10% of annual income
