Language Requirements
English - English Professional Proficiency – Native or able to certify Levels IELTS 8, Aptis adv CPE C1 or above.
• This position requires full English professional fluency/proficiency. Those with English as a second language must be able to certify IELTS 8, Aptis adv CPE C1, or above. As in, those whose English language is who possesses fully professional operational command of the language.
• Candidate must understand a wide range of more demanding, longer texts, and recognize implicit meaning in them. He/she must be able to express him/herself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for the right expression. He/she must be able to use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic, and professional purposes. He/she must produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing correct use of organizational patterns, connectors, and cohesive devices.


Essential Functions
Preferred Compliance Solutions is currently looking for a Cyber Security Specialist. The individual is expected to be an expert in the field of information technology security. Their job will include providing protection during software development and implementation. They will work to make sure that networks are safe from external threats like hackers who want access our systems.

• Maintaining and improving the technical systems of Preferred and ensuring that all employees have the technology they need to succeed in their roles and with their responsibilities.
• Respond to technical support requests by company staff and partners and troubleshoot computer and system problems.
• Run diagnostics and assess the functionality and effectiveness of Preferred’s business enablement programs.
• Administer SAAS solutions – Salesforce, Azure, Office 365, Dialpad
• Ability to discuss computer data access needs, to identify security threats and violations, and to identify and recommend needed programming or process changes.
• Uses data encryption, and other appropriate security tools and applications to conceal and protect transfers of confidential digital information.
• Develops and implements plans to safeguard digital data from accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure; adheres to emergency data processing needs.
• Reviews violations of security procedures; provides training to ensure violations do not recur.
• Monitors and restricts access to sensitive, confidential, or other high-security data.
• Modifies security files and applications as able and necessary to provide specialized access, allow new software to be installed or integrated, or correct errors.
• Performs risk assessments, audits, and tests to ensure proper functioning of data processing activities and security measures.
• Write reports outlining the findings of diagnostic tests and explaining the events of cyber-attacks when they occur.
• Promote company growth, client retention, company culture, purpose, and vision.
• Others as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Qualifications
General:
a. Candidates with English as a second language, must pass an English proficiency assessment. English professional proficiency is required for this position. Those already certified by third parties will be given priority.
b. Candidates must take and pass our pre-employment assessment. We measure cognitive abilities, personality, and motivation as it relates to been able to grow within the organization. Becoming an affordable housing compliance professional within the first twelve months.
c. Candidate must be eligible to fully telecommute during regular business hours. Requirements for telecommuting include:
• high speed internet at their telecommuting station,
• an office in a quiet area free from distractions, and
• a suitable desk and chair. Such that it will provide comfortable space to work with a computer and two large monitors.
d. Candidates must be able and willing to travel overnight for training and other company meetings.
