CNC Machinist

IVEY Group is an international Recruitment and Immigration Firm in Canada that provides life-changing opportunities for globally skilled workers. Currently, we are currently looking for CNC Machinists to work in Ontario, Canada.

Key responsibilities:
a. Program editing and set-up machine tools as per Job Card.
b. Operation of all CNC and Manual equipment
c. Set-up workstation for safe operation, meeting the required setup standards.
d. Perform in-process inspection as per our Quality System and ensure that the Inspection Record is complete.
e. Submit the first off part to Quality Control for inspection/testing.
f. Ensure that the workstation is cleaned, time sheets completed, and if necessary, prepare the machine for the next job.
g. Train on new processes and/or machines.
h. Complete preventive machine maintenance as per schedule
i. Ensure 5-S is being adhered to and that their work area is kept clean and tidy

Job requirements:
a. Well-developed experience with setup and operation of all CNC equipment
b. Good written and verbal communication skills (English required)
c. Technical trade college or equivalent experience
d. Extensive knowledge of hand tools, tooling, and fixturing and first-off inspection
e. Ability to use measuring equipment (micrometers, vernier calipers, bore gauges, comparators)
f. Basic programming on both CNC Mill and Lathes
g. Experience in Master CAM is an asset.

Salary: 27CAD hourly rate
