Cloud Front End Developer

For this position, we are looking for semi-senior FE developers with some experience in BE as well, with the following requirements:

Base Requirements
- Experience with Linux OS (basic system administration)º.
- Experience with Shell scripting (Bash).
- Excellent knowledge of ES6 and React.js
- Decent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and go'old plain JavaScript
- Experience with Python, Java or another similar BE programming language.
- Experience with the following software engineering methodologies: Version Control (git), Continuous
Delivery / Integration (desirable).
- Being able to integrate (adapt/improve/connect) existing open-source code.
- Notions of Networking (TCP/IP).
- Good grasp of English (our definition: you google in English).

- Experience Cloud (Openstack, AWS, GCP, Azure)

What we expect
- You're able to create beautiful, fully functional and optimized websites, which communicate to one or more back-end through API Rest calls, using React and CSS3. The whole SSO login process doesn't have secrets for you. You take care of cross-browser checks to ensure the page looks great in any resolution (Right now we aren't working on mobile apps, but we expect the pages to look fine on mobile). You are able to or willing to learn how to deploy this website through Docker Compose or K8S in a cloud.
- After an induction period, you are capable of taking care of one of our existing products, based on open-source code, and create custom builds or add functionalities through Python or Java.
- You respect our coding guidelines, check your colleagues' merge requests, submit your code through Git with clear commit messages and document your changes thoroughly.
- You work remotely in a disciplined way, respecting internal deadlines and attentive to slack messages or emails. You attend short daily meetings and the occasional larger group meeting where you are expected to give your input or feedback.
