Essential functions
Ensures that the assigned station is properly set up with the required amounts of tableware, glassware, flatware, and items not in place before the start of service.
Assists in achieving departmental guest satisfaction and food and beverage revenue goals by following established service strategies and optimizing upselling opportunities.
Follows the food and beverage service sequence and waitstaff instructions to ensure prompt service to guests.
Resolves any service or product deficiencies that may occur to ensure guest satisfaction at the assigned station.
Ensures that the assigned station is properly cleaned and prepared at the end of the meal period and that all assigned secondary duties are completed.
Performs other duties as assigned, including but not limited to staffing non-kitchen buffet action stations (i.e., carving station, dessert station).
You must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and the SEMS, and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for your position.
Deliver food and beverage orders to guests' cabins according to company procedure, as well as assist with parties and private functions.
Respond to guest telephone requests and handle them according to established procedures.
Collect serving trays from cabins, hallways, and pantries in a timely manner.
