Data and Systems Development Engineer - LATAM

About Our Client:
Our client, a leading European company globally renowned for manufacturing machinery used in the transformation of wood into modern engineering products such as veneer, plywood, and laminated wood, is hiring a Data and Systems Development Engineer for Latin America.

Job Description:

In this role, you'll play a key role in supporting and developing data management systems for our clients in Latin America, with a primary focus on the Biobío region in Chile. You'll also have the opportunity to work remotely and collaborate with our digital services team in Europe.

Requirements:

• Experience in software development for data-centric solutions.
• Practical experience in data processing, data integrations, and data storage.
• Proficiency in English (mandatory, you will work with foreign engineers on a daily basis)
• Strong knowledge of office tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Software development skills in JavaScript, SQL, Visual Basic Net, C#, and more.
• Familiarity with database systems like MS SQL and MariaDB.
• Knowledge of server operating systems like Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, and Microsoft Windows Servers.
• Knowledge of different PLC control systems like Siemens Step7, TIA, or Allen Bradley Control Logix is a plus.
• Experience with the Microsoft Azure portal and Azure virtual machine system.
• Passion for continuous learning and aiming higher.
• Passion for creating excellent solutions for clients and solving complex challenges.
• Confidence to take on responsibilities, honesty, and openness as a team member.
• Autonomy to manage your own workload, schedules, and meet goals.
• Available to relocate to Concepcion, Bio Bio
