A. S. is a company whose current focus is to bring into the market a new orbit determination product based on a novel ground segment technology. Our mission is to provide the market with orbital data from satellites, platforms or any other space object.
Within its continuous growing process, A. S. is currently looking for another Precise Orbit Determination and Orbital Mechanics engineer to work on orbit determination algorithms and procedures based on the data produced by Asgards ground sensors, as well as developing custom orbit data visualization tools.

Located in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain), the main tasks of the candidate include:
• Implementation and validation of Orbit Determination procedures on industry standard software on all its stages
• Simulation of different scenarios to optimize the performance of ground sensors
• Development of visualization tools to represent orbit data using key metrics
• Attendance to industry workshops and trainings for tools specialized in orbital mechanics and precise orbit determination (POD) methods

Requisitos
BSc/MSc in Aerospace Engineering
Software programming skills
Basic project management skills
Fluent in spoken and written english
Experience in the fields of POD, SSA/SST, colision avoidance or in-orbit operations/maneuvering

Academic experience can be as valuable as job experience, but 100% of the aerospace engineering studens have taken orbital mechanics classes. Therefore we need more than that to positively consider academic experience e.g. a master thesis or a specific project in the subject. Wage will depend on the profile. 30k is the maximum for an entry level, but it will increase if a suitable experienced profile is given.
