Geoscientific Systems Officer

We are looking for a Bachelor's degree Geology or Geomatics for an important company of mining industry to assume the position of Geoscientific Systems Officer.Client DetailsOur client is an important multinational mining services provider, specialized in exploration.DescriptionReporting to the Area Leader, the main responsibilities will be:

Design the architecture for and carry out the administration, mainly the NDP SW, GIS, acQuire and Data Capture;

Assist in the implementation of new or upgraded systems and the embedding with internal users, including provision of follow-up support to the operational teams;

Generate and maintain standardization of definitions, formats, codes, symbology, structures, layers, workflows and knowledge platform's workflows;

Maintain an overview of all internal client's needs, identifying gaps, proposing changes to address such gaps, and provide advice in finding future solutions;

Provide input to the broader multi-disciplinary team through sharing expertise, building skills, and technical capability.

ProfileWe are looking for a Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geomatics with over 2 years of experience in mineral exploration on mining industry, experience with map creation, symbology and visual representation of data.
