Overview of the company
FiberHome International is the international state business platform of FiberHome Technologies, which is well-known as the cradle of optical communication technology in China. It was founded in 1974, starting with R&D in the field of optical communication, evolving into the only supplier of end-to-end solutions with optical communication systems, optical fiber & cable and optoelectronic devices, which can effectively support the converged global carriers and partners.
In recent years, we have taken an active part in the world market, the products we supplied have already been exported to over 78 countries or regions. Up to now, we have established over 22 overseas branches with localized service centers covering Asia, Africa, South America and Europe. This ensures timely service to overseas customers through a round-the-clock service system.
We boast remarkable records in overseas market with our accomplishments in telecommunication infrastructure construction, especially in backbone network construction for carriers.
Currently, our FiberHome International Chile office is serving the main local telecom clients, as well as actively spotting and developing business opportunities offering new products and further expanding standard ones with their clients. This has created the need of growing the sales team, looking for several positions, including a new Technical Sales Engineer (account manager), which would be a significant addition to our current staff to achieve our business goals.

Position: Technical Sales Engineer (AM)
1. Responsibilities:
? Products sales, technical presentations and other promotion activities in the field of Optical transport network and access network, Optical cable, Wireless network, Data Network
? Collecting information of market, competitors and customers for marketing development
? Market analysis for particular products and identifying market opportunities
? Planning and implementation of projects, ensuring achievement of sales targets
? Quotations
? Sales and marketing plan
? Build long term relationship with key customers.
? Post-sales & logistics follow-up
? Being able to put together training sessions on all sorts of subjects as per manager request
? Anything assigned by manager, no questioning

2. Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics or related technical fields. MUST
? Over 3 years of experience: experienced or semi-senior level of working experience in telecom industry, familiar with telecom companies working procedures, mainly commercial-focused, with very strong commercial skills with technical background or real and deep interest in telecom/IT technical sales. MUST
? Fluent in English & Spanish (oral and written). MUST. Chinese Mandarin is a plus
? Proficiency with Microsoft office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. MUST
? Cooperative team working focus, very good communication & research skills. MUST
? Adaptable, flexible and willing to undertake a wide range of responsibilities beyond the position when required. MUST
? Experience working with Chinese companies or clients, as well as understanding of Chinese/Asian working etiquette/culture is a plus
? A pool of field contacts is a plus
? Ability to work under high pressure, proactivity and strong tolerance to frustration and ambiguity. MUST
? Able to keep great team commitment and work independently. MUST
? Willing to go on business trip to the South Chile on a frequent basis (2 to 3 times a month). MUST
? Experience in customer relationships management. MUST
? *VISA status: applicants must have a temporary work permit subject to working VISA in progress, or temporary/permanent residence permit. No illegal or overseas candidates will be considered at this time.

3. Conditions
? Competitive salary for experienced or semi-senior level, negotiable according to relevant experience (commercial and technical). No sales commission or incentive
? A yearly performance bonus, based on real results
? Christmas & National Holidays bonuses (between CLP 50.000 to 100.000 each)
? Telephone and expenses reimbursement as per company assignments (business trips, client visits, etc.)
? Salaries raises, more working resources or support, or further bonuses can only be considered after showing substantial and consistent business results and when real contribution has been made to meet the branch's yearly KPIs
? An intercultural team, consisting of Chilean and Chinese staff and the opportunity to learn from each other and grow in a boasting multinational company

4. Recruitment process:
Process will have 4 steps before placement, each one after the other is successfully passed:
1. - Phone filter to check profile fit, background, relevant experience, salary expectations and English level.
2. - Personal interview with branch's GM and lead account manager, to further understand profile fit and what the candidate intends to bring to the table.
3. - Videoconference with HQ Human Resources representative, where candidate will do a comprehensive presentation involving his plan for the position and confirm successful profile fit.
4. - Salary negotiation. If this stage is successful, then it?s a placement.
